While crews complete work on Michigan Avenue, street parking will not be available in the blocks currently under construction. There is plenty of free parking on the surrounding side streets and nearby parking lots to help you still conveniently access all of Jackson’s downtown destinations. During the project, the city is dedicated to ensuring that there is always a safe, accessible entrance to each business. In some cases, this may mean using temporary sidewalks or, in rare situations, entering through an alleyway. Whatever the case, signs (pictured below) will help you navigate to and make sure you know the easiest route.
